About IDS Remodeling, Inc.

Company founder, Darcy DeGiovanni retired from the fire department in 2004 and decided to follow his life-long passion for home remodeling projects. He began IDS Remodeling always maintaining its roots as a small, family-owned business with a focus on high quality workmanship and building solid relationships with clients.

Darcy has a lifetime of experience in the construction field. During his career with the fire service, he was involved in construction, carpentry and cabinetry. Over the years, Darcy remodeled several homes and built two brand-new homes for his family. As retirement drew near, Darcy found himself filling more of his time working on homes and as he puts it, “It was only natural that when I retired, I decided to take up remodeling as a full-time profession.” Darcy utilized his experience as captain in the fire service, where he showed his ability to take control of situations and make good decisions quickly, to begin, and run his business.

In 2005, Darcy expanded the business when he hired his son, Aaron DeGiovanni, who is exceptionally skilled at building long-lasting, trusting relationships with clients through clear and consistent communication. Ingenuity, creativity and problem solving also make Aaron an irreplaceable part of the IDS team.

Today, Vicki DeGiovanni is also part of the team. She has spent the last 15 years of her career in the accounting field. She’s done everything from AP, Payroll, and AR before being promoted to AR manager. This experience crosses over to allow for expertise we have with our accounting processes for the IDS Remodeling team.

IDS Remodeling is a member of the Oregon Remodelers Association and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. In 2011, the company won  NARI CotY Award for Historic Restoration and NARI CotY Award for Custom Work.

Our belief at IDS Remodeling is that the success of a project extends well beyond choosing the right general contractor to manage your project. That’s why we only use sub-contractors who have experience in the remodeling field; we won’t work with anyone who isn’t always on time, clean, courteous and respectful of a homeowner’s privacy and property.

We invite you to look us up on Oregon’s Construction Contractor’s Board.
