To protect yourself we recommend you check out your contractor before you sign a contract.  All legal contractors in this state must have a license, bond, and insurance to do business.  Any and all disputes or state violations will be recorded at the CCB which can be accessed by the consumer.  All you need is the contractor’s license number or registered business name.
